Workflow templates
46 workflow templates in 9 categories. A template lays out the stations, installs the agents it needs into your workspace and puts each one on its station, with pass and fail routes already wired.

A template that only named columns would leave you with an empty pipeline and a note to assign your agents afterwards — six columns, six trips to the marketplace, six settings dialogs before anything could run. So a CodeBook template names the worker for every station, how that worker starts and where a card goes when it finishes.
The categories are Start a business, Run a business, Sales, Marketing, Customers, Finance, People, Product and Software. Software is where CodeBook leads — delivery, bug response, secure delivery, incidents, API work, migrations — and the same model runs a month-end close, a hiring pipeline or a support desk because the templates and the agents to staff them exist.
The first station of most templates is a conversation: an agent you talk to, that writes cards into its column when you ask. The last station before Done is usually a person. Everything in between starts when a card is dropped in.

Factories
A factory is the operating environment for one team or function. Inside it you build as many workflows as that team needs — feature development, bug fixes, incidents, security remediation — and they share the same workers, tools and rules.

The agent marketplace
Software, business and management teams CodeBook wrote, plus community skills with their authors credited. Install one and it belongs to your workspace, with a skill you can read, edit and reset.

Workers on stations
Every column in a workflow can have one worker behind it — an agent you hired, a person, or an agent that waits for a person’s approval. The column stops being a place cards wait and becomes a station where something happens to them.

Don’t build your own software factory. Assemble one.
Build the factory. Pick the workers. Define how work moves. CodeBook runs it.
