Skills
A skill is plain text you can read. No hidden prompt, no black box — what the agent was told is on the page, and you can change it.

- What an agent knows, in writing
Every agent in CodeBook has a skill: a written brief describing its specialty, how it should work, what evidence it must produce and what it must never claim. Sarah is told to split vertical slices and never to invent a business decision. Maya is told that an unavailable tool means blocked, never passed. Kai is told not to claim hardware validation from a simulation.
That last kind of line is the reason the skill is visible. An agent that reports a pass it did not verify costs more than one that reports nothing, so the instruction not to is written down where you can check it — and edit it for your own standards.
