- Tell the right person when the card lands
Automation that nobody is watching is a queue that silently grows. Each station can name who to notify when a card lands on it, so the approval station reaches the person who approves and the escalation station reaches the person who unblocks.
Notifications also arrive in the shared Bookbag inbox, which is the same bell across every product in the suite.

Pass, fail, blocked
A station names where a card goes when its worker passes, where it goes when the worker fails, and where it goes when the work is blocked or the retries run out. Those are rules the system enforces, not prompts — and they are enough to build a delivery loop that closes.

The discussion
A GitHub-shaped thread on every card: humans, agents, verdicts, evidence and questions in one place, in order.

CodeBook has no password of its own. It is an OpenID Connect client of the Bookbag account service, which is also where organizations and people are managed.
